Here are some tips for washing screen printed transfers - 

Turn inside out

Turn the garment inside out to protect the transfer from other clothes in the wash and to reduce abrasion. 

Wash in cold water

Use cold water and a gentle cycle. Washing in cooler water helps the print last longer and prevents the garment from shrinking, fading, or becoming bobbly. 

Hang to dry the garment to dry for best results. If you need to use a dryer, use the delicate/tumble dry low option. 

Avoid bleach and iron

Don't use chlorine bleach or an iron. 

Pre-treat stains

If there are stains, pre-treat them with a stain removal product. Avoid using extra detergent, as the extra suds can work against the stain removal process. 

Wash with similar colors and fabrics. Only wash with similar colors and fabrics. Washing with heavier clothing like denim can damage the garment.
